Hong Kong singer Alex To and his 30-member team remain stranded in New York after a powerful winter storm slammed the northeastern U.S. on Feb. 22, dumping feet of snow and paralyzing transportation.
To had just performed a concert in Connecticut when their planned departure was canceled due to the blizzard, with some flights rescheduled to Feb. 25.
The group only realized the storm's severity when emergency alerts warned of traffic shutdowns, closed stores, and school cancellations. They are now sheltering at their hotel.
New York City issued its first blizzard warning since 2017, making To's U.S. tour an unexpectedly dramatic experience.
