According to CCTV Sports, on Feb. 8, Beijing time, in the men's snowboard big air final at the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics, Chinese athlete Su Yiming won a bronze medal. This is the first medal for the Chinese sports delegation at this Winter Olympics.
After the competition, Su Yiming said, "I have given my all over these four years, and this result is satisfactory. I’m very happy to achieve this today."
In the first round, Su Yiming executed a right-footed frontside 1980 grab, receiving a score of 88.25 points and ranking second.
In the second round, he attempted a switch frontside 1980 grab but landed with a slight error, earning 73.75 points.
In the third round, under pressure, Su Yiming scored 80.25 points, finishing with a total score of 168.50 points to win the bronze medal.
