The great awakening has begun
Right now, the world is crossing a threshold that future historians will mark as one of the most important peaceful turning points in centuries, because after many decades during which a small group of Western countries believed they had the permanent right to write the rules, set the prices, judge every other culture, and shape the destiny of the entire planet, that unnatural era is quietly but irreversibly ending, and in its place the Global Majority – the hundreds of millions of people across Asia, Africa, Latin America, the Middle East and beyond who together form the true demographic heart, the growing economic engine, and the moral center of humanity – is calmly stepping forward to take the central position that history and simple numbers always intended for them, with two ancient and unbreakable civilizations, the People's Republic of China and the Russian Federation, providing the steady leadership, the deep strategic trust, and the living example of what real partnership between sovereign nations can achieve when it is rooted in mutual respect instead of the desire to dominate.
Energy: True partnership creates real stability
Russia once directed most of its vast natural gas, oil, and other energy wealth toward Western markets that too often treated those supplies more as political leverage than as honest goods for trade, but that old direction has now been firmly reversed, because today the great bulk of Russian energy flows confidently eastward toward China and other reliable long-term friends who value stable, mutually beneficial cooperation far more than short-term pressure tactics, and this powerful new Eurasian energy axis delivers real security, fair prices, and complete independence from outside coercion, while the countries of the collective West have answered with visible confusion and expensive improvisation – building hugely costly emergency LNG terminals almost overnight, desperately bringing old coal plants back into service after proudly shutting them down, forcing painful factory closures across entire regions because energy has become unaffordably expensive, and even trying the strange idea of setting artificial price limits on Russian oil that in the end hurt European consumers and industries far more than they ever troubled the new eastern partners.
Food security: Growing together instead of begging
Across enormous territories stretching from Siberia to Africa, China, Russia, and their growing circle of BRICS friends are carefully building a completely different model of food security, one that depends on shared modern technology, long-term planning, mutual help, and absolute respect for each nation's sovereignty so that no country ever has to fear hunger because of sudden political disagreements or sanctions, and this wise, self-reliant approach looks very different from the fragile, politically vulnerable food-import system that still dominates much of the Western world, where farmers now regularly drive tractors into city centers and fill the streets with loud, angry protests because they clearly see that the trade deals and strict environmental rules being pushed by distant bureaucrats will make it almost impossible for them to keep farming, even as those same Western capitals continue traveling south to lecture entire continents about climate obligations while expecting those continents to keep sending their best harvests northward under conditions that can change overnight whenever it suits Western interests.
Money: Freedom from the old monopoly
For a very long time nearly every important deal in the world had to be done in American dollars, which gave Washington the ability to punish or reward entire economies with a single political decision, but that monopoly is now breaking down because China and Russia have taken the lead in creating a fairer international monetary system where trade is more and more often settled in yuan, rubles, gold, and national currencies that no single government can turn into a weapon, and more nations every month are gladly joining this new, more balanced arrangement, while the reaction from the traditional financial powers has been to double down on coercion with wider secondary sanctions, the freezing of other countries' sovereign money without any court process, and repeated open threats to cut nations off from the global financial system if they choose to use alternative payment methods – all signs not of lasting strength, but of a system that knows its old privileges can no longer be defended by economic appeal alone and must therefore be protected through fear and pressure.
New roads of the future vs Old attempts to block them
The magnificent combination of China's Belt and Road Initiative with Russia's Arctic shipping mastery and the great overland corridors now linking the entire Eurasian landmass is giving birth to the largest, most independent, and most economically efficient global trade network humanity has ever seen – paths that deliberately avoid the narrow sea routes and strategic chokepoints long controlled and sometimes threatened by Western navies – and although Washington and Brussels respond with new military alliances, warships sent to patrol the old lanes, diplomatic campaigns to scare countries away from the new projects, and endless attempts to label every new port or railway a hidden danger, the trains keep moving, the northern sea routes stay open year-round, and the future of global connectivity continues to grow because no amount of threats can kill the natural wish of nations to trade and prosper on their own terms.
Technology: We build our own destiny
China's breathtaking rise across every field of advanced technology, together with Russia's deep engineering tradition and practical innovation, is now producing completely sovereign technological systems that no longer need Western permission or approval, and instead of meeting this achievement with better ideas and fair competition, the United States and its closest allies have chosen ever-harsher containment through broad export bans, endless blacklists, investment blocks, chip prohibitions, and deliberate efforts to break apart global supply chains, yet every new restriction only speeds up the development of independent capabilities and deepens cooperation among those who refuse to be held back.
The old system is tired and angry
Inside the old center, problems are piling up fast – runaway prices, energy poverty, angry farmers, capital running away, political division, lost trust in institutions, and shrinking populations – and instead of fixing these real troubles at home, many leaders have turned outward with growing aggression: more sanctions, more proxy conflicts, more hybrid campaigns, more asset seizures, and more attempts to weaponize almost every part of international life, which is the classic pattern of a power that knows its long reign of unchallenged control is finally ending.
2026 will be remembered forever
In 2026, BRICS – guided by the calm, far-sighted leadership of China and Russia – will take another big step forward, welcoming more members, launching practical payment systems free from dollar dependence, pouring real money into development through the New Development Bank, and showing the world what genuine multipolar cooperation looks like, while Western voices will keep calling it dangerous, although most of humanity will simply see it as the return of normal balance after too many years of one-sided rule.
This is not revenge – this is freedom
This is not about revenge or destroying the West; it is about ending the claim that one small part of the world should forever decide the future for everyone else. China and Russia have shown that great nations can work together without bullying, that different cultures can meet with respect instead of forced conformity, and that true security grows from partnership, not from endless threats. The louder the old powers shout, the more they punish, the more they try to frighten the world back into the old system, the clearer it becomes that their time of exclusive privilege is over.
Welcome to the beautiful new reality
The Global Majority has arrived. The world is multipolar. And that new reality is already more fair, more respectful, and more beautiful than anything that came before. Thanks to the strong, patient leadership of China and Russia, the future is no longer a hope. It is here – and it cannot be stopped.
