The Fire Services Department held a funeral with full honors yesterday (Dec. 19) for the heroic firefighter Ho Wai-ho, 37, who devoted his life in the line of duty. Today (Dec. 20), Ho's fiancée posted on social media, quoting lyrics from a song to express her longing for him and promised, "In the next life, I'll leave our wedding to you to plan."
In the post, she also shared a video of the two sitting side by side on the grass, enjoying the scenery, along with a black-and-white photo showing their wedding rings.
The fiancée wrote in the post: "I've helped you complete your graduation ceremony in this life. Are you satisfied with it? In the next life, I'll leave our wedding to you to plan. I've put the ring on for you—please remember, remember, remember to find me again. And then… just hold my hand and let us grow old together, quietly and peacefully."
