The Hong Kong Observatory announced today (Dec. 5) that a cold front is expected to arrive in South China next weekend. The cold front will bring stronger northerly winds and occasional rain, causing a sharp drop in temperatures.
Saturday, Dec. 13, will mark the start of the cold spell, with temperatures expected to drop to a minimum of 16°C. This is a substantial decrease compared to Friday's high of 24°C, representing an 8°C plunge within just one day.
Temperatures will continue to fall on Sunday, Dec. 14, with urban areas seeing lows of 15°C and highs of only 19°C.
