The Hong Kong cycling team continued its stellar run at the 15th National Games, with star rider Ceci Lee partnering Chloe Leung to win the gold medal in the women's Madison event at the Hong Kong Velodrome in Tseung Kwan O today (Nov. 16).
This victory marks Lee's second gold medal at this edition of the Games, following her successful title defense in the women's road race earlier. For Leung, traditionally a specialist in hilly road courses who underwent a challenging transition to track cycling, this hard-fought medal represents her first-ever podium finish at the National Games.
As of this afternoon, Team Hong Kong has now secured an impressive six gold medals at the 15th National Games.
