The Hong Kong Observatory stated today (Nov. 13) that a strong northeast monsoon is expected to reach the Guangdong coast on Monday night (Nov. 17), bringing a significant drop in temperature to Hong Kong on Tuesday (Nov. 18), with temperatures falling to around 13 to 14 degrees on Wednesday (Nov. 19).

The Observatory indicated that the cloud band currently covering the Guangdong coast will thin out tomorrow, and the dry northeast monsoon will bring generally good weather to the South China coast in the next two to three days. In the coming days, there will be periods of sunshine and dry conditions in Hong Kong, with warm daytime temperatures on Sunday (Nov. 16) and Monday (Nov. 17). The northeast wind will strengthen on Monday night.
