On November 2, during the women's team event of the diving competitions at the 15th National Games, Quan partnered with Wang Weiying in the women's synchronized 10-meter platform. They delivered three stable dives, achieving a total score of 235.86, which placed them first and helped the Guangdong team win gold. After 183 days away from competition, Quan continued to showcase her excellent water entry control, and her partnership with Wang Weiying was seamless.

Previously, Guangdong team coach He Weiyi revealed Quan Hongchan's injury during an interview. He stated that she was competing despite being injured: "Quan Hongchan currently has injuries to her tibia and ankle. She is persisting in the competition, and although it's not visible, she actually has kinesiology tape all over her body. It's really tough for her; she experiences extreme pain every day."
On the evening of November 6, the women's synchronized 10-meter diving final was held in Guangdong. Chen Yuxi and Zhang Minjie took the title. Quan Hongchan and Wang Weiying from the Guangdong team finished fifth with a score of 311.76. Quan won one gold medal in the National Games.
After the competition, Quan expressed her gratitude for the attention to diving, saying she was very happy regardless of whether she won or lost.
