The movie The Sun Rises on Us All, starring the Venice Film Festival Best Actress winner Xin Zhilei, held its premiere in Hong Kong on Nov. 8. Over 200 fans of Xin Zhilei traveled from various cities in the Mainland to support their idol, bringing homemade light signs to cheer her on. When Xin Zhilei appeared, the crowd erupted in chants of her name, and she warmly waved to the fans around her. When the host introduced Xin Zhilei, she stood up and waved again, which delighted the audience.
At the beginning of the ceremony, the host invited the producer Ma Shuang, director Cai Shangjun, and actress Xin Zhilei to the stage to share their experiences during filming. Xin Zhilei expressed her hope for everyone to support The Sun Rises on Us All and mentioned that her character in the film was a role she had long dreamed of. She considered it a stroke of luck to encounter this character in her life. When asked if she hopes to find another great role in the future, she replied that she doesn't know what lies ahead.
