Renowned Hong Kong actor and director Stanley Fung Shui-fan passed away on the evening of Oct. 31, 2025, in Taiwan at the age of 81.

Fung was a prominent figure in HK's film and television industry from the 1970s to the 1990s. He became widely known for his iconic comedic roles, such as "Rhino Skin" in the Lucky Stars series and "Lau Ting-kin" in The Romancing Star.

Just days earlier, on Oct. 28, his fellow HK actor Benz Hui passed away. Fung had expressed his sorrow on social media, writing, "It saddens me that he truly left before I did, leaving a faint feeling of melancholy." He also addressed Hui, saying, "Dear brother, wait for me over there. I'll follow soon."

Fung recently posted on his social media to mourning the passing of Benz Hui. (Internet)
