The 15th National Games, jointly hosted by Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, will open on Nov. 9. Hong Kong will host eight competition events, including basketball (men's U22), track cycling, fencing, golf, handball (men's), rugby sevens, triathlon, and beach volleyball, as well as the mass participation event of bowling. Tsuen Wan Sports Centre Closure
The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) has announced that Tsuen Wan Sports Centre will suspend services to support the basketball (men's U22) event and preparations for the 12th National Games for Persons with Disabilities and the 9th Special Olympics Hong Kong Jockey Club Cup table tennis events. Details:
- From Oct. 27 to Dec. 19: All facilities (including service counters and SmartPLAY self-service kiosks) will be closed, except for the parking lot.
- From Nov. 30 to Dec. 15: All parking spaces will be suspended.

Partial Closures in LCSD's Yuen Long District
Selected facilities in Yuen Long will be closed to support the marathon event. Details:
- Tin Fai Road Sports Centre: Nov. 14 (5:00 pm to 11:00 pm) – All facilities closed.
- Tin Shui Wai Sports Ground Paid Parking: From Nov. 14 (6:00 pm) to Nov. 15 (5:30 am) – All parking spaces suspended.
Tin Shui Wai Sports Ground will remain open as usual. Alternative facilities and parking are available at other nearby centres. For inquiries, call 2473 0229.
Temporary Closure of Park Located East of Fan Kam Road
To facilitate the golf event at Fanling Golf Course, the park east of Fan Kam Road (covering holes 1 to 8 of the "Old Course") and the five-a-side hard-surface soccer pitch will be closed from Nov. 3 to 23. During the event, the paid parking lot will not offer public parking from Nov. 7 to 16.
