The Mainland singer Jane Zhang experienced a stage accident during her concert. On October 11, her 41st birthday, she fell from a lift platform approximately 2 meters high at a concert in Xi'an.
While singing the song "Secret Love," Zhang accidentally fell off the stage. Some fans reported that the lighting in the lift area was dim and there were no warning signs at the edges, leading to suspicions that she accidentally stepped off the platform. Video footage from the scene showed her "walking and then suddenly disappearing," and she was wearing high heels when she fell, causing gasps from the audience.
After falling, Zhang only took about 20 seconds to recover before continuing to sing. Her voice showed no significant impact, and she jokingly reassured her fans, saying she was "still vigorous" and telling them not to worry.
Zhang insisted on finishing "Secret Love" and completed the subsequent high-energy dance song "Where Is the Good Guy?." Although staff revealed that her arms and legs were noticeably bruised and swollen, she refused to use a chair for support and performed standing throughout.
