Japanese actress Ryoko Yonekura, 50, who rose to fame and found her representative work through the Doctor-X series, has not updated her social media since August 19. Furthermore, she has canceled three consecutive events and turned down endorsement deals, sparking public speculation about her health. However, Shukan Bunshun has reported that she is under investigation by relevant Japanese authorities due to strong suspicions of involvement with drugs, and that illegal drugs and related paraphernalia were even found in her home.

According to the report, their journalists received relevant information in early June this year. On August 20, Japan's Narcotics Control Department raided Yonekura's apartment in Tokyo, discovering many substances and usage tools that violate the Narcotics and Psychotropics Control Act. Two days after the raid on her home, Yonekura flew to Europe for a vacation, traveling to places like London for about two weeks.

Yonekura returned to Japan on September 6, after which Shukan Bunshun began follow-up interviews. Unexpectedly, she successively canceled her scheduled appearances, leading to external speculation about whether it was related to a recurrence of a previous illness. Shukan Bunshun sent multiple letters to her agency inquiring about the raid and the illegal drugs, but received no response whatsoever.
