Louis Vuitton (LV) recently opened a restaurant in Seoul, South Korea, featuring its most eye-catching dish, beef dumplings, with three pieces priced at approximately HK$255. The dumpling wrappers are adorned with LV's classic patterns.
According to reports from South Korean media, the LV restaurant has been fully booked for both lunch and dinner since reservations opened on August 18, and it has remained difficult to secure a table even through mid-September. The restaurant is filled with LV elements, from the tableware and decor to the dishes and drinks, all incorporating the brand's iconic "Monogram" design.
A couple dining at the restaurant shared that they ordered eight dishes, including drinks, desserts, and the beef dumplings, totaling around HK$1,528. One customer commented, "The prices are indeed high, but the food and ambiance offer an experience that can't be found elsewhere. I think it's worth a visit."
However, some netizens commented that "customers are just fools with money" and added, "No matter what, they have to say it tastes good."
