The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) recently launched a dedicated webpage (click to visit), which brings together the operational arrangements for major tourist attractions in Hong Kong during the Mainland's National Day "Golden Week" (Oct. 1-7), as well as various special promotional activities.
During the Mainland's "Golden Week" holiday, the HKTB will also provide real-time queueing times for popular tourist attractions in Hong Kong on the webpage. These include Hong Kong Disneyland, Ocean Park Hong Kong, the Peak Tram, Ngong Ping 360 cable car, the Hong Kong Observation Wheel, and the Star Ferry. This aims to help both residents and visitors plan their itineraries more conveniently.
Additionally, the HKTB is intensifying its promotional efforts in the Mainland by collaborating with industry partners. Through social media, live streams, influencers, and online travel platforms, it will promote diverse tourism products and offers covering National Day travel packages, dining, retail, and hotels. The goal is to attract more visitors to Hong Kong, encourage longer stays, and boost spending.
