
According to CCTV News, the production team behind "Dead To Rights" announced today (Sept. 26) that the film will represent the Chinese mainland in the competition for the Best International Feature Film at the 98th Oscars.
Since its release, the movie has struck a deep chord with audiences worldwide, generating widespread acclaim. To date, it has grossed over RMB 3 billion at the box office.
As part of the National Day celebrations, Hong Kong is hosting the "Movie Fiesta-Half Price Spectacular" event. Starting at 12:00 p.m. today, 52 cinemas across the city will offer half-price tickets for all films, regardless of movie type, ticket category, or screening format. Both "Dead To Rights" and "731" are among the titles featured in multiple cinema schedules.
