Hong Kong's Lee Tung Avenue, a popular Mid-Autumn Festival destination for locals and tourists, is set to dazzle this year with the "Moon Fest Lumiere" Lantern Festival. From Oct. 1 to Oct. 26, over 800 traditional Chinese lanterns and goldfish-shaped lights will light up the street, creating a romantic and poetic atmosphere in the heart of Wan Chai. Symbolizing abundance and family reunion, the spectacular display promises a feast for the eyes.
On the day of the festival (Oct. 6), the highlight event "LED Fire Dragon Fiesta" will take center stage. This innovative reinterpretation of HK's intangible cultural heritage will feature an 18-meter-long LED-lit dragon adorned with vibrant lights. The LED fire dragon, accompanied by dramatic smoke effects, lion dancers, and a drumming team, will make its dazzling return to Lee Tung Avenue.
The performance starts at 8:30 p.m. in the central courtyard of Lee Tung Avenue, weaving through Queen's Road East and Johnston Road before returning to the courtyard. The entire performance will last approximately 45 minutes.

Lee Tung Avenue is home to several renowned tea and coffee shops, including CHAGEE, Silk., Free D Coffee, and The Baker & The Bottleman. During the event period, customers who purchase a drink from any participating café can visit the assigned photo spot to take a picture. By sharing the photo on their personal social media accounts, following Lee Tung Avenue's official Facebook or Instagram pages, and tagging #LeeTungAvenue, participants will receive a limited-edition Mid-Autumn Festival cup sleeve.
