According to the China weather network, this year's 20th typhoon, Bualoi, has strengthened into a strong tropical storm as of last night (Step. 24). Its center was located approximately 990 kilometers southeast of Manila, Philippines, over the Northwest Pacific Ocean at 5 am today (Sept. 25), with coordinates of 10.8°N latitude and 129.2°E longitude. The storm has maximum sustained winds of 11 levels (30 m/s), a pressure of 980 hPa, and a radius of the seventh-level wind circle of 220-300 kilometers, and a radius of the tenth-level wind circle of 60-80 kilometers.

It is expected that Bualoi will move northwest at a speed of 20-25 kilometers per hour. After passing through the central Philippines, it will enter the eastern South China Sea early on Sept. 27 and then continue to move northwest, gradually intensifying.
