According to comprehensive reports from CCTV News, at the local time of Sept. 16, US President Donald Trump and his wife, Melania, arrived in the United Kingdom for an official state visit. This marks Trump's second visit to the UK within two months, following his trip in July of this year.

Based on the itinerary released by British media, on Sept. 17, Trump will meet with King Charles III, have lunch with members of the royal family, lay a wreath at the tomb of the late Queen Elizabeth II, and attend an air show, followed by a state banquet. On Sept. 18, Trump and his wife will travel to the Prime Minister's residence in Buckinghamshire to meet with Prime Minister Keir Starmer and his wife, after which bilateral talks and a press conference will be held. They are scheduled to leave the UK later that day.

Notably, this will be the first meeting between King Charles III and Trump since the former's accession to the throne. On the same day, protests were held near Windsor Castle on the outskirts of London, demonstrating against President Trump's state visit to the UK. Buckingham Palace stated that Trump is scheduled to meet with King Charles III and Prime Minister Keir Starmer on Sept. 17 and 18, respectively.

The demonstrations were organized by a group called the "Stop Trump Coalition." Protesters held signs with slogans such as "Hate doesn't make any country great" and chanted phrases like "Leave the UK" and "You're not welcome here" along the main street outside Windsor Castle. Some demonstrators also projected footage of Trump's past interactions with Jeffrey Epstein onto buildings to express their dissatisfaction with his visit.

One protestor said that the high-level reception given to Trump by the UK was "not deserved." The group also plans to hold a larger-scale protest in London's Parliament Square on the afternoon of Sept. 17. This is Trump's second state visit to the UK as US President. During his first term as president, he made a state visit to the UK in 2019. In July of this year, Trump's private visit to Scotland sparked protests among residents.
