On Sept. 3 (local time), US President Trump acknowledged that he watched China's military parade commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory in the War of Resistance Against Japan and World Anti-Fascist War. According to a video released by the White House, Trump made these remarks during a meeting with Polish President Karol Tadeusz Nawrocki at the White House.
"I thought it was a beautiful ceremony, and I thought it very, very impressive," Trump said regarding the September 3 parade, adding that he "understood" why China held the event.
He went on to say, "They were hoping I was watching, and I was watching. My relationship with all of them is very good."
