On the morning of Sept. 1st, DotDotNews reporters had the privilege of stepping into the 2025 Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit Center ahead of schedule, experiencing its unique interior and profound meaning.

Entering the conference center's lobby, the spacious and bright space is a breathtaking sight. Natural light pours in through the glass ceiling, making the entire hall appear exceptionally transparent. Looking up, eye-catching blue banners hung overhead. Inscribed in English, Russian, and Chinese, they embody the SCO's core values: "Mutual Trust, Mutual Benefit, Equality, Consultation, Respect for Diverse Civilizations, and the Pursuit of Common Development." These banners not only highlight the SCO's core values but also convey the member states' unwavering commitment to working together for progress.

A large mural stands prominently in the lobby. Continuing forward, a "Flag Wall" composed of national flags comes into view. The vibrant, colorful flags, neatly arranged against the backdrop of a red carpet, appear particularly solemn. Each flag represents a country, and their gathering here symbolizes the close unity and extensive cooperation among the SCO member states and related partners.
