The Hong Kong Computer & Communications Festival 2025 (HKCCF) opened grandly on Aug. 22 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, featuring a four-day exhibition that covers approximately 210,000 square feet with over 800 booths and more than 200 exhibitors participating.

During this event, visitors not only witnessed a variety of technological innovations but also felt how deeply technology impacts our lives and future. From traditional computers and mobile devices to robotic dogs, these displays are not just technological achievements but also a reflection of humanity's continuous exploration and pursuit of progress.

The exhibition of Hong Kong's first locally produced electric motorcycles attracted the attention of many visitors, with their streamlined design and electric drive prompting a reevaluation of sustainable transportation possibilities. In a world facing environmental challenges, these innovative products offer convenient travel options while reminding us how to coexist with technology in our daily lives, achieving a balance between environmental sustainability and efficiency.

In this digital age, entertainment is no longer merely a pastime but has become a form of social media. The gaming zone not only showcased the fusion of technology and entertainment but also featured many fun and charming peripheral products, leaving visitors dazzled.

The AI sports experience area allowed attendees to personally experience how technology integrates with sports, enhancing participation and prompting reflection on the role of technology in improving health and fitness.

Additionally, the book about AI launch added an academic touch to the event. This book explores how to maintain competitiveness in an era of rapid AI development, integrating interactive technology. Visitors can simply scan a QR code in the book to access the Cantonese audio version, with an AI assistant available to provide answers, making this innovative learning method easier for readers to grasp the content. This is not just a transfer of knowledge but also preparation for future work, reminding us of the importance of continuous learning and adaptation in the face of technological change. As a reader, I find that this method makes learning more vivid and promotes the digestion and application of knowledge.

The use of AI assistants is not only a convenience of technology but also a redefinition of human capabilities, challenging our perceptions of the boundary between "human" and "machine." For me, this is not just a technological advancement but a reevaluation of our own potential; we should embrace this change rather than fear it.

Overall, the HKCCF is not just a stage for showcasing technological products but also a platform for knowledge and innovation exchange. Visitors experienced the allure of cutting-edge technology while learning how to apply these technologies in the future, highlighting Hong Kong's position as a leading city in technological innovation. This prompts me to reflect: in this technology-driven era, how should we seize opportunities, face challenges, and find our place in the wave of technology? I believe that only by courageously exploring and embracing change can we position ourselves favorably in the future world.
