Traveling to China is an incredible adventure, filled with rich history, vibrant culture, and stunning landscapes. While you'll hopefully never need them, knowing the essential emergency numbers is a crucial part of being prepared. Save this list in case you need it!
110: Police (General Emergency & Crime)
When to Call: Report any crime, require police assistance, witness suspicious activity, or need help in a situation requiring law enforcement. 110 is also the primary number to call for any life-threatening emergency if you are unsure which service you need. Dispatchers can also connect you to fire or medical services.

119: Fire Department & Rescue Services
When to Call: Report a fire (building, vehicle, forest) or if you need rescue from a burning building. You can also call 119 if you are trapped in an elevator.

120: Medical Emergency & Ambulance
When to Call: Require urgent medical attention for yourself or someone else due to sudden serious illness, serious injury, or any situation needing immediate medical transport to a hospital.

122: Traffic Accident Police
When to Call: Report a road traffic accident, especially if there are injuries, significant property damage, or a dispute between drivers. Use this for accidents involving cars, motorcycles, bicycles, or pedestrians on public roads.

12315: Consumer Rights Protection Hotline
When to Call: Report issues like scams by merchants, fake products, unfair pricing, food safety concerns in restaurants or shops, or general disputes with businesses where you feel your consumer rights have been violated.

12367: China's National Immigration Administration service hotline
When to Call: For inquiries related to immigration matters. This includes questions about visa extensions, residence permits, lost passports, reporting immigration-related violations, or general policy questions.
