The first overseas branch of the popular Japanese manga character CHIIKAWA's themed ramen shop, CHIIKAWA Ramen, will open on Aug.16 at Langham Place in Mong Kok. Starting today (Aug. 7) at 1 pm, reservations for the first month (Aug. 16 to Sept. 15) will be available on KKDAY. The Hong Kong location will follow the reservation model of the original Japanese store, requiring each person to pre-purchase a bottle of black oolong tea priced at HK$38 as a deposit.
In addition to ramen and drinks, the Hong Kong shop will also offer a range of merchandise, including ramen bowls, beer mugs, water bottles, and face towels.
Reservation Steps:
- Register as a KKday member.
- Go to the reservation page, select your preferred dining time. Each customer must purchase a bottle of black oolong tea (HK$38) online, which includes a random character card as a reservation confirmation.
- Fill in the traveler representative information. Customers must register with the same name as on their ID, e.g., Last Name: Chan, First Name: Tai Man. Valid ID matching the reservation name must be presented if required.
- After a successful reservation, you will receive a confirmation email or can check the QR code for the [entry voucher] in KKday's order management, indicating that you have successfully obtained the [KKday reservation certificate].
- Present the QR code at the reserved time (screenshots, photocopies, or forwarded emails of the QR code will not be accepted for entry).
- It is recommended to arrive 15 minutes before the reservation time to complete check-in, order, and shop for merchandise.
- Only the following payment methods are accepted: cash, Visa, Mastercard, American Express (Amex), Alipay, and UnionPay.
