This morning (Aug. 5), a headless body was discovered in a flowerbed outside the St. Francis' Canossian School (Kennedy Road, No. 9) in Wan Chai at approximately 7:00 a.m. Local police were immediately alerted to the scene. Despite the ongoing black rainstorm, a large number of officers responded to the report and cordoned off the area for further investigation.
According to reports, the body's legs were found under a tree outside the school, while the torso was discovered beneath another tree across the road. The flowerbed where the body was lying had partially deformed iron railings, suggesting a strong impact, but the head was missing.
Officers sealed off a section of Kennedy Road and searched for the missing head despite heavy rain. Some officers climbed nearby buildings, including the residential complex Monticello, to continue their investigation.
On-site reporters observed several police vehicles stationed at the scene. Officers on duty stated that the investigation is ongoing in the vicinity of the incident. Nearby residents, citing police sources, reported that the case may involve a person falling from Monticello. The gender and reasons for the fall remain unclear at this time.
