The world's first AIGC-powered animated series on Chinese civilization, CHINESE STORIES, has launched the latest episode titled "Magic of Soy Sauce".
It began over two thousand years ago with the fermented salty sauce, made from meat and fish, which was later replaced by soybeans to create soy sauce. In the 7th century, Buddhist monks brought it to Japan.
Modern soy sauce has two classic variations. Light soy sauce, which is light in color and has a mild flavor, is suitable for dipping dumplings and enhancing dishes; dark soy sauce is rich in color and flavor, specifically used for braising meat to enhance aroma and color.
The entire episode is available in three languages on the DotDotNews (點新聞) app.
