McDonald's Japan's CHIIKAWA toys will be available in Hong Kong starting today (July 28), released in eight phases. Customers can receive one for free with the purchase of a Happy Meal.
In Hong Kong, McDonald's offers two ways to obtain the toys: by queuing at 40 designated outlets to purchase any Happy Meal at the counter, or by using the McDonald's App to access a specified website to select one of two designated Happy Meals. Customers can then redeem the toy at one of approximately 220 other outlets within three days using a QR code.
According to McDonald's regulations, whether purchasing online or in-person at designated outlets, customers are limited to one toy per transaction and must queue again for additional purchases.
The complete set of eight CHIIKAWA toys will be released from July 28 to August 22, with one new toy available every Monday and Friday at 11 am. Each toy will be launched on a different day, and quantities are limited while supplies last.
