Soaring 1,519 meters above the mystical landscapes of Zhangjiajie, Tianmen Mountain isn't just a natural wonder—it's a pilgrimage for thrill-seekers and photographers alike. Known as "Heaven's Gate Mountain", its vertiginous cliffs, sacred caves, and gravity-defying walkways offer a journey straight out of Chinese mythology.

Tianmen Cave: the "Stairway to Heaven"
Dominating the mountain's face is the colossal Tianmen Cave. Known as the "Heaven's Door" or the "Stairway to Heaven", it's a 131.5-meter-high natural arch carved by ancient geological forces. There are two ways to reach the cave: tourists can climb the 999 steps up to the cave or they can take the escalator to the cave.
- Tianmen Cave Escalator Ticket:

The Record-Shattering Cable Car Ascent
The Tianmen Mountain Cableway is the world's longest passenger cable car, stretching 7.5 kilometers from downtown Zhangjiajie. During the 30-minute ascent, you'll glide over the "Heaven-Linking Avenue"—a dizzying road with 99 turns that resembles a dragon coiled around the mountain.

Glass Skywalk
The Glass Skywalk is a 60-meter-long, transparent path that clings to a sheer cliff 1,430 meters above the forested abyss. As you tread carefully over the void, the valley unfolds beneath your feet.
- Glass Skywalk Ticket: 5 RMB
- Tianmen Mountain Ticket: 278 RMB
