According to the China Customs official WeChat account, Shenzhen Bay Customs recently seized two compressed gas-powered guns carried by inbound passengers.

On that day, a passenger entered the mainland from Shenzhen Bay Port and did not declare to the customs when passing through the customs control area. The machine inspection image of his luggage was abnormal. After further inspection, customs officers seized two suspected guns in his luggage. After identification by a professional organization, the two suspected guns were both compressed gas-powered guns and were prohibited items from entering or leaving the country.

Customs reminded that the country has a strict control system for guns. According to the "List of Prohibited Items for Import and Export in the People's Republic of China" issued by the General Administration of Customs Order No. 43, weapons, simulated weapons, ammunition, and explosives are prohibited items from entering and leaving the country.
