
The international higher education research organization QS has released its latest ranking of the world's best cities for studying abroad. Hong Kong has shown impressive performance, climbing five places from last year to rank 17th globally, successfully returning to the top 20. South Korea's Seoul has surpassed Tokyo and London for the first time, claiming the top spot in this year's rankings.

The rankings cover 150 major study destinations worldwide and are based on a comprehensive evaluation of six core indicators: university rankings, student diversity, city attractiveness, employer activity, affordability of living costs, and student ratings. Hong Kong achieved an overall score of 88.3, ranking 7th in Asia.
Notably, cities in mainland China have performed strongly overall, with Beijing jumping 18 places to rank 13th globally, while Shanghai is ranked 27th.
