Artist Jacky Heung borrowed RMB 2 mn at a casino in Macau last December but has not repaid the full amount, still owing RMB 1.4 mn. MGM China Holdings Limited has filed a lawsuit in the Hong Kong District Court to recover the outstanding balance and interest.

According to reports from HK01, the plaintiff stated in the filing that Heung is a customer of their Macau casino. On December 1, 2024, Heung borrowed RMB 2 mn and exchanged it for chips, agreeing to repay the full amount on the same day. However, the plaintiff claims that after deducting the amount from Heung's account and any partial repayments he made, he still owes RMB 1.4 mn. According to the loan agreement, the annual interest rate is 18%, calculated from the day the loan was taken. The plaintiff is now demanding that Heung repay the outstanding amount along with interest.
