
According to CCTV news reports, the Fukuoka Regional Meteorological Observatory in Japan has recorded a total of 2,006 earthquakes with a magnitude of 1 or higher near the Tokara Islands in Kagoshima Prefecture from June 21 to 8 am on July 14.
The meteorological observatory stated that while the number of earthquakes varies each day, it cannot be said that there is a significant decrease in frequency. They urged the public to remain vigilant for the possibility of earthquakes with a magnitude of around 6 in the near future.
