Today (July 5) marks the second day of the open visit by the Shandong aircraft carrier formation in Hong Kong. In the afternoon, rain began to fall at the No. 2 anchorage in western Victoria Harbour where the Shandong is moored.
Hong Kong visitors taking shelter from the rain gathered beneath the wings of J-15T carrier-based fighter jets, while on-duty soldiers distributed raincoats to the public, standing guard in the rain to protect both the aircraft and citizens.
