Dear friends,

I write to you as someone who respects your love for America, your pride in its history, and your desire to see it thrive. You call yourselves patriots, a term that carries a commitment to freedom, justice, and the Constitution. I share your belief in sovereignty and self-determination as the foundation of democracy, alongside the necessity of a neutral media and the removal of money's corrupting influence from politics. But I urge you to reflect: have you been misled by the MAGA movement, swept up in its fervor, and now find yourself supporting policies that betray these principles? Specifically, I'm addressing the push for confrontation with Iran, exemplified by the attack on the Fordow nuclear facility that betrays the Constitution's requirement for congressional approval, and the U.S.'s complicity in actions echoing history's darkest moments.

A true patriot protects the Constitution above all. It's the nation's foundation, binding us to the rule of law and ensuring sovereignty through self-determination. When a government violates it, a patriot's duty is resistance, not allegiance. If a regime becomes illegal, shouldn't a patriot fight to restore the republic's integrity, as the Founding Fathers did? Yet, MAGA's figurehead, Donald Trump, has undermined the Constitution by placing himself above the law, prioritizing personal loyalty over democratic governance. How can you reconcile your love for the Constitution with supporting such actions? True democracy also demands a neutral media, free from bias, and politics untainted by money, yet MAGA thrives on polarized narratives and donor-driven agendas, eroding these ideals.

The U.S. attack on Iran's Fordow nuclear facility, a uranium enrichment plant, marks a reckless escalation and betrays the Constitution. Article I, Section 8 grants Congress the power to declare war, yet this "Midnight Hammer" operation, using B-2 stealth bombers, lacked congressional approval, violating domestic law. Iran called it "a violent act," and the IAEA warned of "serious implications for nuclear safety and regional peace," noting its breach of the UN Charter. Coordinated with Israel, this strike undermines Iran's sovereignty and risks global stability, as IAEA chief Rafael Grossi urged restraint to avoid "radioactive releases with grave consequences." A patriot should question why America defies its Constitution and democratic principles, not cheer lawlessness.

MAGA's rhetoric paints Iran as a threat requiring war. But who benefits? A conflict would cost thousands of lives, trillions in debt, and destabilize the Middle East. Hawkish voices, often tied to defense contractors, not your heartland, push this agenda, fueled by the money you decry in politics. Recall Iraq's WMD lies and its toll. Don't be duped again. Equally troubling is the U.S.'s role in Gaza, providing weapons to Israel's actions, labeled genocidal by human rights groups. Over 40,000 Palestinians, mostly civilians, have been killed since October 2023, per UN reports. Neighborhoods are razed, hospitals targeted. Enabling such suffering betrays America's commitment to self-determination for all peoples.

History warns us. In the 1930s and 1940s, Germans stayed silent as their government violated international law and perpetrated the Holocaust, believing it served national strength. Supporting unconstitutional acts like the Fordow attack or enabling atrocities in Gaza risks placing you on history's wrong side. Patriotism doesn't ignore lawlessness; it holds America to a higher standard.

MAGA tapped into real frustrations—economic woes, cultural divides—but it's a bait-and-switch, offering war and complicity, not solutions. Recommit to the Constitution: read Article I. Examine Gaza through UN reports, Amnesty International, or B'Tselem. Study the Fordow strike via IAEA statements. Ask why war with Iran serves profit-driven hawks. Don't let your love for America be weaponized.

Patriotism is defending the nation's soul—upholding the Constitution, sovereignty, and a democracy free from biased media and money's grip. If that means resisting an illegal government or opposing acts like the Fordow attack, it's a patriot's duty. You've been misled, but you can choose a better path. America deserves patriots who stand for justice.

With hope and urgency,

Angelo Giuliano.
