The People's Liberation Army (PLA) Hong Kong Garrison is holding barracks open days today and tomorrow (June 21-22), welcoming Hong Kong citizens to visit. This afternoon at Shek Kong Barracks, despite light rain, soldiers and members of the Hong Kong Army Cadets Association's youth flag guards stood ramrod straight in full military bearing, while helicopter performances drew thunderous cheers from the crowd.

Participating in today's national flag-raising ceremony alongside PLA Hong Kong Garrison troops, young guards expressed deep honor and pride. One student participant shared: "Though the rain made us increasingly nervous during the ceremony, we maintained utmost reverence and dedication throughout." Inspired by the garrison soldiers' discipline and perseverance, the youth strove to execute their duties flawlessly.

Later, three helicopters performed breathtaking aerial maneuvers, eliciting waves of applause from spectators. The post-rain rainbow intersecting with dozens of colorful ceremonial flares in the sky instantly elevated the atmosphere to its climax.
