Imagine navigating the bustling streets of Hong Kong as a person with a disability. How easy would it be to move around the city?
In this interview, we explore the accessibility of public facilities for people with disabilities. We ask participants to share their thoughts on the convenience of amenities such as the MTR, shopping malls, and roads. We also compare Hong Kong's barrier-free environment with that of their own cities, examining both the strengths and weaknesses of the local infrastructure.
The responses are largely positive, with many recognizing that Hong Kong offers a significant level of accessibility for people with disabilities. However, they also point out areas needing improvement, emphasizing that while progress has been made, there is still work to be done to create a fully inclusive environment.
