In its first international A-level match at Kai Tak Sports Park, the Hong Kong football team will compete against India on Tuesday (June 10) in the third round of the Asian Cup qualifiers. Ticket sales have been strong, with 45,000 tickets sold by Saturday. Kai Tak Sports Park announced today (June 8) the entry and transportation arrangements, including a designated taxi drop-off area for the first time.

Security checks will start at 5:30 pm, and entry will open at 6 pm. To ensure smooth entry, Kai Tak advises fans to plan their trips in advance and allow enough time for ticket verification and security checks. Fans arriving early can visit two official merchandise sales points located on the 2nd floor of the main venue (near Gate E) and Central Plaza, where only credit card or mobile payments will be accepted. There will also be a limited-time giant inflatable Hong Kong team jersey for photo opportunities at the Central Plaza.

For entry, spectators can access the gates via the West Bridge (closer to the MTR Sung Wong Toi Station) or Central Plaza (closer to the MTR Kai Tak Station). Once tickets are scanned for entry, spectators cannot re-enter the main venue if they leave. Attendees must adhere to venue rules, particularly regarding prohibited items; no water bottles or containers of any size (with or without caps) and long umbrellas are allowed inside.
On the day of the event, special transportation arrangements will be implemented to facilitate spectator travel to and from the sports park. Due to expected heavy traffic in the area, attendees are encouraged to use public transport and avoid driving. Several bus and minibus routes passing through Prince Edward Road East, Ma Tau Kok Road, and Shing Kai Road will connect the sports park with various districts in Hong Kong, Kowloon, and the New Territories. After the event, MTR services on the Tuen Ma Line will be increased, and 10 special bus routes will be provided along Sung Wong Toi Road to major areas in Hong Kong, Kowloon, and the New Territories.

Additionally, for the first time, a taxi stand will be arranged for departure, opening a taxi drop-off area outside Gate H of the main venue. Existing drop-off arrangements will remain unchanged. Spectators taking a taxi to the park can get dropped off at the main venue taxi stand, the Kai Tak Sports and Arts Center taxi stand, or the drop-off area on Sung Wong Toi Road. After the event, there will be no taxi service at the drop-off area on Sung Wong Toi Road, and spectators must take the escalator to the taxi drop-off area on G level outside Gate H to catch a taxi.
