
Following the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announcement on May 22 regarding changes to Harvard University's international student enrollment eligibility, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) has extended an invitation to current international undergraduate and postgraduate students at Harvard, as well as those who have already received offers of admission to Harvard degree programs, to continue their studies at HKUST. HKUST has pledged to provide unconditional admission, a streamlined application process, and comprehensive academic support to ensure a seamless transition for prospective students. The university is to prioritize expedited admissions, credit transfers, and personalized assistance, including visa support and accommodation arrangements, to facilitate a smooth relocation. A dedicated team has been established to assist with admissions, credit transfers, housing, and visa procedures.
