According to the Global Times, Tesla CEO Elon Musk stated on May 20 that he will continue to serve as Tesla's CEO for the next five years unless he passes away.

During a Tuesday video interview at the Qatar Economic Forum, the billionaire explicitly mentioned his commitment to leading Tesla until 2030, stating, "Unless I die."

In an interview with Bloomberg, Musk expressed confidence and a firm stance regarding the legal dispute in Washington state surrounding his high compensation package, stating that he is not concerned and believes the case will not impact his future compensation arrangements.

He emphasized that his focus lies more on maintaining control over Tesla as opposed to the billions of dollars in compensation, stating, "It's not about the money, it's about maintaining a reasonable degree of control over the future of the company, particularly as we may be making hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of humanoid robots."
