Speaking at an economic conference in Qatar on May 20, billionaire Elon Musk said he expected to reduce his political donations, saying he had 'done enough', the BBC reported. Musk had been the largest donor to U.S. President Donald Trump in the 2024 election.
When asked if he had decided how much he would put into the US midterm elections, Musk said, "I think I'm going to cut back significantly going forward as far as political spending is concerned," The Guardian said. When pressed by the host for a reason, Musk said bluntly, "I think I've already done enough."
The BBC says Musk also promised to continue leading electric car company Tesla for the next five years.
