The Chief Executive, John Lee, met with reporters before attending the Executive Council meeting today (May 20). Responding to the issue of ticket scalpers of Kai Tak Sports Park box, Lee said that the park and the government attach great importance to the issue. The park is handling the matter seriously, and Lee has also expressed his concern through the Sports, Culture and Tourism Bureau.
Lee pointed out that the rental of boxes must be operated in accordance with the relevant terms and conditions of the Kai Tak Sports Park, and the terms and conditions have clearly stipulated that any rental box tickets cannot be sold. Kai Tak Sports Park said that the matter is being handled seriously and all box renters have been notified that they must follow the terms and conditions of the rental and must not transfer the box, otherwise, the park will be held accountable in accordance with the terms and conditions of the rental.
Lee continued that he had expressed his concern through the Sports, Culture and Tourism Bureau that Kai Tak Sports Park should listen extensively to suggestions in the relevant areas and continuously optimize the procedures, so that the public can have a clearer and more transparent understanding of how to legally purchase tickets for the Kai Tak Sports Park.
