During an early morning patrol in Tseung Kwan O, officers spotted a man standing next to a taxi parked outside Po Tai House on the Po Lam Estate.

On questioning him, they allegedly found a HK$20 note containing suspected cocaine in the man's shoe, and suspected drugs inside the taxi.

The Police Dog Unit was called in and 59 packets of suspected cocaine, weighing 34 grammes, were allegedly found inside the taxi.

Police estimate the street value of the suspected drugs at about HK$28,000.
