According to CNS, citing Reuters and other media reports, Apple CEO Cook said that the U.S. government tariffs may drag down Apple's second-quarter profits. Assuming the current trade policy remains unchanged, the company's costs are expected to increase by US$900 million as Apple shifts its supply chain.
Cook also mentioned that Apple plans to spend US$500 billion to expand its U.S. business, including the construction of servers and chip factories.
