The epicenter, located at 26.27°N latitude and 100.00°E longitude, had a focal depth of 10 kilometers, with tremors felt across all nine townships in Eryuan County.

As of 7:00 AM local time, preliminary assessments confirmed 442 homes damaged, but no casualties were reported. Critical infrastructure—including roads, water facilities, power grids, and communications—remained intact, with no secondary disasters detected at geological hazard sites.

Emergency Response Activated Eryuan County immediately initiated a Level IV earthquake emergency response, deploying fire rescue teams, forest firefighters, local officials, and specialists to inspect villages, gas stations, reservoirs, and hazard-prone areas. Authorities prioritized preventing secondary disasters such as landslides or utility failures.
