Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street

The Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street is home to numerous shopping malls and restaurants. It is famous not only because of its vibrant nightlife, but also the iconic Chongqing People's Liberation Monument located in the same district. It is a historic landmark commemorating China's victory in the Sino-Japanese War. Today, it serves as the symbolic center of Chongqing, surrounded by glittering skyscrapers, luxury boutiques, and vibrant street life.

Kuixing Building

Chongqing's reputation as an "8D city" comes alive at Kuixing Building, a complex that defies conventional urban design. Its most striking feature is that the building looks like it's on the ground floor, but if you walk towards the edge, you would see a pedestrian bridge suspended 22 stories above ground, connecting two skyscrapers. Tourists can experience the city's vertigo-inducing architectural layers firsthand.

Liziba Station

Liziba Station is one of Chongqing's most viral sights, where the city's metro Line 2 appears to plunge directly through a residential building.

Sujiaba Trail

The Sujiaba Trail is another spot that proves Chongqing is an "8D city". Consisting of a 300-meter-long uphill trail, a pedestrian overpass, and seven escalators, this dizzying feat of engineering offers drivers and passengers panoramic views of Sujiaba Interchange, Caiyuanba Yangtze River Bridge, and Yuzhong Peninsula across the river.

Xiahaoli Old Street

Once a crumbling historic neighborhood, Xiahaoli Old Street has been revitalized into a charming cultural district. Its narrow alleys are lined with traditional courtyard homes, indie cafes, and art installations. The area preserves the soul of "old Chongqing," offering a peaceful escape from the city's modern hustle.

Yangtze River Cableway

Connecting the South Station and North Station, these retro-style cabins glide above the river, offering sweeping views of skyscrapers and bridges. Sunset rides are particularly magical, as golden light bathes the water and cityscape.

Hongya Cave

Hongya Cave is Chongqing's most enchanting landmark, a towering, 11-story stilted complex that lights up like a cascading golden waterfall at night. It is the MUST see among all Chongqing's attractions.
