Subways in China are both thrilling and surprisingly user-friendly.

China's subway systems are among the most efficient and extensive in the world, connecting major cities with speed and affordability. For foreigners visiting China, navigating the metro might seem daunting at first, but with a few tips, you'll be riding like a local in no time.
Payment Methods
Chinese subway stations support mobile payments, eliminating the need for physical tickets or cards. Passengers who have already set up Alipay and WeChat can scan QR codes and enter the station.
Alipay: Switch location and get your "Metro Card" at "Transport".

WeChat: Search "your current location + metro" and use the official WeChat mini program QR code to enter the station.

Besides mobile payments, passengers can also purchase physical metro tickets at the station. Some metro stations in China also support "tap & go". Passengers can tap their bank cards and enter the station.
