
On April 8, local time, the US announced an increase in its so-called "reciprocal tariffs" on Chinese imports from 34% to 84%. In response, on April 9, China declared that tariffs on all US-origin goods would also be raised to 84%. Additionally, China's Ministry of Commerce added 12 US entities to its export control list and placed six companies, including Shield AI, on its unreliable entities list.
