The Transport Department (TD) announced today (April 6) that special traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented to facilitate a Coldplay concert at Kai Tak Stadium on April 8, 9, 11, and 12. Spectators are encouraged to use public transport due to expected heavy traffic around the venue, as no parking will be available at the Kai Tak Sports Park (KTSP) during the event.

1. Railway Services
To accommodate the influx of spectators, the MTR Tuen Ma Line and East Rail Line (ERL) will enhance service frequency during the dispersal period on event dates. Extra trains will be deployed to manage increased demand.
For cross-boundary travelers, the last train to Lo Wu Station will leave Sung Wong Toi Station at 10:59 pm and Kai Tak Station at 11:01 PM. Those missing this train can take the ERL to Sheung Shui Station, then transfer to KMB route no. 276B or N73 to Lok Ma Chau (San Tin) Public Transport Interchange (PTI) and catch the Lok Ma Chau-Huanggang (LMC-HG) cross-boundary shuttle bus (Yellow Bus) to Shenzhen.

2. Special Bus Route Services
To assist cross-boundary travelers, two additional special bus routes will operate during the dispersal period, connecting Lok Ma Chau (San Tin) PTI and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB) Hong Kong Port/Airport. This will allow passengers to transfer to the Yellow Bus for Shenzhen or the HZMB shuttle bus (Gold Bus) for travel to Macao or Zhuhai, or to depart from Hong Kong via the airport. In total, 11 special bus routes will be available in the Sung Wong Toi Road Pick-up/Drop-off Area (PUDOA), including routes to major districts across the territory.
3. Cross-Boundary Coach Services
KTSP Limited will provide cross-boundary coach services during the dispersal period on event days to help travellers return to the Mainland via the LMC/HG Port. Passengers must purchase tickets before the concert, as on-site ticket sales will not be available during dispersal. Coaches will depart from the PUDOA on the ground floor of Kai Tak Stadium, accessible via the escalator outside Gate H on the 2nd floor. For the latest ticket information, please visit the operators' websites: Eternal East Bus and CTG Bus.
A dedicated passage will be established at the LMC/HG Port as needed to ensure smooth public transport operations.
4. Taxi Services
On the event dates, the Sung Wong Toi Road PUDOA will be open from 2 pm to 11:30 pm for taxi pick-up and drop-off. The Transport Department (TD) will coordinate with the taxi industry to facilitate passenger pick-up. Please note that waiting times may be extended due to the influx of spectators during dispersal, and passengers are asked to their patient. The KTSP Limited will also open the Taxi Drop-off Area at Kai Tak Stadium and Kai Tak Arena for drop-off only during the admission phase.
Spectators are encouraged to stay updated with real-time information through on-site broadcasts and the "Easy Leave" website, as well as the latest traffic news via the TD's website, the "HKeMobility" mobile app, and radio and television broadcasts.
