Today is the last day of the Ching Ming Festival long weekend, and a large number of Hong Kong people are returning to Hong Kong. According to the Immigration Department, as of 10:00 a.m. this morning (April 6), more than 69,000 people entered Hong Kong, of which 56,000 used the land boundary control points, with Hong Kong people accounting for 58% of the total.

During the holiday, the number of tourists from other regions also increased significantly, and a number of scenic spots in Hong Kong were also crowded with people. It is worth noting that in recent years, many tourists have come to Hong Kong to appreciate the natural scenery, such as Hong Kong's unique stone wall trees, the High Island Reservoir East Dam and so on.
According to the Immigration Department's figures, the number of mainland visitor arrivals on April 3 was 79,434, and it rose to 178,968 on the Ching Ming Festival, with a total of more than 250,000 arrivals in Hong Kong over the two days. The figures also showed that the top three control points for mainland visitors were West Kowloon, Lok Ma Chau Spur Line and Lo Wu Control Point of the Express Rail Link. Meanwhile, the number of visitors from other regions also increased significantly during the Ching Ming holiday, with more than 42,000 arrivals on the day of the Festival.
In addition, in recent years, Hong Kong's unique and rich natural landscape has also attracted a lot of tourists to come here to take photographs. On April 5, a netizen uploaded a photo of a large number of tourists gathered around the stone wall trees in the vicinity of the Forbes Street in Kennedy Town, in which many people were taking photos. On the other hand, on the day of the Ching Ming Festival, many tourists made a special trip to the High Island Reservoir East Dam, and the traffic there was even busy at one time.
