A number of rescue teams from China have arrived in the earthquake-stricken areas of Myanmar and have started their search and rescue work without a break. In Mandalay, the Shenzhen Public Welfare Rescue Team has been searching for survivors in high temperatures for days, and their search dog, Duo Ji, has been following the team in collapsed buildings.
Duo Ji, a 4.5-year-old rescue dog, has been a member of the team for three years and has been involved in at least five rescue operations. After arriving in Myanmar with the Shenzhen Public Welfare Rescue Team, it continued to search for survivors in the collapsed buildings in the disaster area.
